Faculty (LCCEA) 2025 Labor Negotiations

The Lane Community College and Lane Community College Education Association (LCCEA) have opened successor collective bargaining agreement negotiations, following the establishment of agreed upon ground rules. 

The College is approaching negotiations in alignment with the identified priorities of (1) enrollment growth, (2) maintain fiscal responsibility, and (3) improve campus climate. Other priorities include: 

• Build a strong working partnership with LCCEA to jointly address the challenges we face and seek results with mutually beneficial solutions that are durable over time. 
• Bargain from a values-based position. Prepare and respond to all bargaining proposals through the lens of what outcomes would best serve the long-term stability of our institution, student learning and opportunities, and the cohesion of our learning community. 
• Bargain within the principles on fiscal responsibility and sustainability. 
• Ensure the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) aligns with accreditation standards
• Support the College's ability to adjust and respond to trends in higher education that impact students, industries, and the community. 
• Clarify and confirm understanding of the terms of all agreements between the parties to mitigate conflict and improve labor relations. 

The College is committed to a collaborative and successful process that allows for stakeholder access to important bargaining updates. Within this section, you will find updates following each session, proposals, and tentative agreements, along with supporting information and data, including financial reports and budget information. 

Bargaining Dates: 

All sessions are scheduled to be held in Building 2, Room 214. Bargaining sessions are open to all LCCEA represented members along with all managers and administrators. The sessions are not open to the public.
