LCC is committed to protecting workers from heat stress. When temperatures rise:

  • Hydrate: Drink water consistently throughout your shift.
  • Take Breaks: Utilize cool zones and take additional recovery breaks as needed.
  • Relocate: If indoor temperatures reach extreme levels, coordinate with your supervisor to move to a climate-controlled area.
  • Resources: Review the OSHA Work Safely in High Heat Guide and the COPPS Heat Illness Prevention Plan.
