Tool Description

Canvas by Instructure serves as the central digital ecosystem for Lane Community College, providing a unified space for learning and academic management across all course formats. For students, it is the essential platform for accessing course syllabi, submitting assignments, taking quizzes, and tracking their grades in real-time. Instructors use the tool to organize course modules, facilitate discussions and assessments, and provide personalized feedback through built-in grading. By streamlining communication via the Canvas Inbox and mobile app, the platform ensures that the LCC community remains connected and on track for the teaching and learning experience throughout the academic term.

How to Get or Use This Tool

Access to Canvas will be available starting late Spring 2026 to instructors. Student access will begin Fall 2026. Watch for updates through email and send questions to atc@lanecc.edu
