Student Technology Fee
The Board of Education originally approved a $3/credit hour general student computer technology fee at the March 18, 2002 public meeting. The fee was instituted in the summer of 2002 for all credit students and in the fall of 2002 for noncredit students. The revenue from the fee is administered by the CIO for Information Technology.
Beginning in the Summer term 2009, the Board of Education authorized an increase to the Technology Fee to $5.00/credit hour to be assessed for persons (students and employees) enrolled in any/all credit classes.
Beginning in the Fall term 2017, the Board of Education authorized an increase to the Technology Fee to $9.00/credit hour to be assessed for persons (students and employees) enrolled in any/all credit classes.
