Faculty Connections

Information Technology, Computer, Campus Phone

The Information Technology (IT) staff is here to support you with your communication and computing needs. Whether you're experiencing hardware or software issues, need assistance with online program tutorials, encountering login problems, or have questions about technology, our IT Help Desk is available to help.

Life Events

If you recently experienced a change in marital or domestic partnership status, the birth, adoption, or foster placement of a child, involuntary loss of other coverage, the loss of a covered family member, or a change in employment for you and/or your spouse/partner and are enrolled in the College's insurance benefit plans, be sure to submit an Insurance Enrollment Change Form with proof of the change within 30 days of the qualifying event. You may also want to update your Section 125 annual election, direct deposit information, W-4 tax withholding forms and PERS beneficiary designation(s). Links to these forms can be found in the HR Forms Library.

Mental Health

We prioritize the mental health and well-being of our employees. Navigating life's challenges can be difficult, and we're here to provide support every step of the way. Lane Child & Family Center

The Lane Child and Family Center is a state-licensed preschool/childcare program located on the LCC’s main campus. Center staff are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment where children can explore, discover, and experiment with a wide variety of materials while receiving high-quality care and education. The program provides financial assistance to help reduce the childcare fees for eligible families.

Lane Governance

The governance system at LCC plays a vital role in planning and policy development for the college. It recognizes the importance of involving various stakeholder groups and administration members in decision-making processes, ensuring representation and accountability. Library

As an employee, you have full access to the resources and services offered by the LCC Library. Whether you're conducting research, seeking reference assistance, or simply looking for a quiet place to read, our library is here to support you!

Paid Leave

Employees receive accrued paid leave in accordance with the applicable union agreement or working conditions document. For long-term leaves (absences exceeding 10 days, excluding vacation and professional development), there are various resources available for protected paid and unpaid time off under FMLA, OFLA and/or Oregon PFML.

Specific details can be found in the applicable union agreement or working conditions document, as well as on the benefits website for the respective employee group.

Payroll

Employees are paid twice a month, on the 10th and the 25th of each month. If that date falls on a weekend or bank holiday, pay day is scheduled for the last working day immediately preceding. Timesheets are submitted through ExpressLane, our online employee portal. It is essential to submit your timesheet accurately and on time to ensure timely payment.

Public Safety

Your safety is our priority. LCC Public Safety’s mission is to promote a safe, secure and respectful learning environment by providing professional public safety and emergency services. Public Safety officers enforce all federal, state, city and county laws and ordinances on college property. They also enforce local policies and regulations. Officers may legally obtain driver identification, vehicle identification, verification of insurance information, issue citations and make arrests as part of their statutory duties.

Quality Care Connections

Quality Care Connections is Lane County's Child Care Resource and Referral Agency, dedicated to supporting the local child care and early learning workforce. Services include consultation, coaching and training to enhance the quality of child care and early learning programs in the community.

Retirement Planning

Lane Community College employees have multiple retirement plan options, including the Oregon Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) pension plan and two voluntary retirement savings plans, providing a variety of choices to help achieve a comfortable retirement.

Safety Tips & Procedures

We're committed to ensuring a safe working and learning environment. Our Safety Committee plays a crucial role in achieving and maintaining this goal by bringing together employees and managers to address safety concerns and promote best practices. In the event of an occupational injury, illness or near-miss incident, employees should immediately contact their supervisor to ensure all reporting obligations are met. Timely reporting is essential for addressing safety issues effectively and preventing future incidents.

Sexual Respect at LCC (Title IX)

LCC works to build and maintain a safe, gender equitable environment for students, faculty and staff in all aspects of educational programming and employment. This means that no one should be denied participation in or the benefits of any LCC program or activity on the basis of sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.

LCC is committed to providing support and assistance to all members of our campus community who are impacted by gender-based discrimination, harassment, and violence, including sexual assault, relationship or dating violence, and stalking. LCC is committed to developing best practices to respond to and prevent sexual assault.

Titan Store

The Titan Store at LCC offers more than just books! In addition to a wide selection of textbooks and course materials, the store also features miscellaneous merchandise and grab-and-go food selections for your convenience. As an employee of Lane Community College, you're eligible for a discount on certain items at the Titan Store. Simply present your employee ID badge at checkout to receive your discount.

Vector Training

All employees are expected to participate in various mandatory training sessions to ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and best practices. These training sessions are provided through Vector Solutions and are assigned as necessary based on your role and responsibilities. When training is assigned you will receive an email notification with further instructions. Your username is your L Number and no password is necessary. In addition to any assigned training, there is also a library of (optional) training materials available to you. These resources cover a wide range of topics and can be accessed at your convenience to support your professional development and growth.

Wellness Program

Employee wellness is essential for overall well-being and productivity. That's why we're committed to providing a comprehensive employee wellness program designed to support employees and their families in achieving and maintaining optimal wellness by sponsoring free/reduced classes, events, and other services.
