Cultural Competency Professional Development (CCPD)

The college requires all employees to complete cultural competency training in accordance with ORS 350.375 and Board Policy 520.

All classified (FT & PT) and management employees must complete twelve (12) hours of cultural competency training every three (3) years

Faculty, in accordance with Article 23.16.5. of the LCCEA Contract:

Faculty hired before June 30, 2022, must have completed four (4) hours of cultural competency training per year, up to twelve (12) hours, by June 30, 2022.

Faculty hired after June 30, 2022, must complete four (4) hours of cultural competency training per year, up to twelve (12) hours, within three (3) years of hire.

In addition, there is extra training in Vector that applies, see list at the bottom of this webpage. Do not submit Vector CCPD training. Completed training within Vector LMS that is CCPD-eligible will be credited to your CCPD attendance report for you.
