Faculty Connections is an institutionalized, faculty-led orientation and mentorship program. We strive to welcome and integrate new faculty into Lane Community College.
Faculty Connections begins with a fall kick off seminar in September just prior to In-service, followed by a pairing of experienced faculty mentors with newer faculty mentees. Participants are encouraged to join the Faculty Connection social events offered during Fall, Winter, and Spring terms. This creates a culture of support and interdependence among faculty both new and experienced. A Moodle shell is available for the participants to share information, access documents and experience using the platform as LCC students do.
