Tool Description

Grackle Docs is an add-on for Google Docs that helps users check and fix accessibility issues in their documents, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards. It allows for the easy creation of tagged, accessible PDFs and provides step-by-step guidance for improving document accessibility.

How to Get or Use This Tool

To install:

  1. Open Google Docs.
  2. Select the "extensions" menu
  3. Navigate to "Add-ons", then "get add-ons"
  4. In the search bar, enter "Grackle Docs" then select it.
  5. Select the "install" option.
  6. Grackle docs will install and now appear under the "extensions" menu in Google Docs

To launch

  1. In Google Docs, select the "extensions" menu
  2. Hover over "Grackle Docs" then choose "Launch"
  3. Grackle docs will open on the right sidebar and start scanning the document
