IntermediateAccessibility Info
Adobe Acrobat Pro has limited accessibility when using its PDF Accessibility Editing features due to reliance on drag-and-drop functionality. Accessibility features are not preserved when transitioning PDFs to other formats. Several areas contain static informational content that screen readers cannot access. Additionally, most buttons lack programmatic names, roles, states, or value information.
Certain screens, such as "Edit: Links" and those used for preparing forms, rely solely on color to convey information. Text contrast in some areas, including placeholder text, “Comment on PDF,” “Create PDF,” and others, does not meet minimum accessibility standards.
Several screens lose functionality when zoomed to 200%, including “Adobe Sign: Prepare,” “Compress a PDF: Reduce File Size,” “Redact a PDF: Find Text and Redact,” “Send for Comment,” and “View PDF: Navigate & View.”
