Health Accountability Group (on Slack):

If you’re like me, you’re not new to trying to improve your health and fitness. My guess is that you’ve had some successes in the past but lost your momentum as time went on. It is so hard when you feel like you’re in it alone. But you don’t have to be alone! That’s why we strive to build a supporting and uplifting virtual coaching community, where you can join with like-minded individuals, who are all trying to better themselves and their own health and fitness. I would love to invite YOU into this community.

If you are interested in joining the Wellness Channel on LCC’s Slack network, please email Jenni (minerja@lanecc.edu) to be added. In this channel we support each other’s goals, check-in on progress on those goals, celebrate successes, problem-solve issues, and share fun health, fitness, nutrition, and wellness tips.

The CHILL Room (19/117):

Escape the daily hustle and experience a haven of Calm, Healing, Inventiveness, and a Lighter Load in the The CHILL (location: 19/117, code: 19117), open anytime building 19 is open.

Designed exclusively for LCC employees and staff, The CHILL is your retreat for relaxation and stress relief. Discover a range of soothing activities and amenities, including beautiful puzzles, a serene meditation space, yoga nook, a cozy reading corner, and invigorating happy UV lights. Unleash your creative side with crafts or unwind on massage mats that will melt your stress away. Your well-being is our priority, so don't miss the opportunity to unwind and recharge during your day.

NOTE: This is NOT the Zen Den. Instead, this is the equivalent of that, but for FACULTY/STAFF. It is located in building 19, room 117, and the code to get in is “19117” (for employees only).

If any of the above don't interest you, you are also welcome to join one of many virtual walk/jog groups
