This procedure describes the responsibilities of the academic dean if she or she deems that the return of the materials may compromise their future instructional use. In general, all materials such as workbooks, practice sets, art or shop projects, or term papers should be returned to the student.
If the instructional administrator determines that the return of student materials would compromise future instructional use, then the instructional administrator and instructor must insure that the course information sheet clearly specifies which materials will not be returned. (See Course Syllabus Information).
All projects for which the student has provided or purchased the materials must be returned to the student.
