This procedure describes the circumstances under which visitors may sit in a class, and to assign responsibility for making exceptions to this general rule.
In general, individuals who have not registered for a class may not visit the classroom
Classroom visitors are defined as any individuals sitting in on a class for which they have not registered through the regular college procedures.
College instructors may allow visits to one or two class sessions at their own discretion. For more than two visits by the same individual, the written approval of the appropriate department chair or director is required.
