AI affects people across Lane in different ways. The Commission on AI welcomes questions, concerns, and perspectives from students, faculty, classified staff, and management.
Ways to contribute
- Share how AI is affecting your learning, work, or access to college services.
- Suggest an issue or question for a workgroup to examine.
- Ask about workgroup participation or commission membership.
- Share a resource or example that could help the commission develop recommendations.
You do not need to be an AI expert. Experience, curiosity, and critical perspectives help the commission understand what matters to Lane’s community.

Representation
The commission’s structure includes 24 voting seats: six each for faculty, classified staff, management, and students. The co-chairs serve ex officio without voting. The 2025–26 annual report includes a roster documented as of July 2026.
