Academic Support & Innovation supports the college’s goals of maintaining and enhancing quality learning environment while providing accessible and equitable learning opportunities. We do this through promotion of innovative pedagogy, student focused teaching strategies and the use of technology to help enhance the learning experience and engage students. We are comprised of four departments and directly support 3 institutional strategies.

Departments
Academic Technology Center (ATC)
One-stop academic support center provides Lane faculty and staff with hands-on help for academic technologies through training, troubleshooting, instructional support, and a drop-in lab.
Academic and Tutoring Services (ATS)
Provides a supportive learning environment with free one-on-one tutoring in multiple on-campus resource centers and online through the Support Hub. Tutoring and coaching in Arts, Business, Math, Science, Writing, amongst others.
Instructional Testing Services (ITS)
Provides secure, monitored test proctoring for Lane students, supporting in-person exams and faculty testing requirements.
LCC Library
Supports students and faculty with access to research databases and course resources, study rooms, technology loans for students, printing, and personalized research and instructional support.
