Our Vision
To advance digital literacy pertaining to emerging technologies to catalyze innovation rooted in student success.
Mission
The Fusion Lab empowers the campus community and community partners to explore and discover innovative technologies, including AI, in a supportive and privacy-conscious environment, enhancing teaching and learning experiences.
In the LCC Fusion Lab we are committed to exploring technologies that shape how we learn and connect. The Fusion Lab is our dedicated space to experiment with emerging tools, demystify technology, and build confidence in a rapidly changing digital world.
The lab is hands-on and collaborative - faculty, staff, students, and community partners can explore everything from generative AI, XR/AR technologies, and interactive media. Through workshops, projects, and open discussions, we investigate both the possibilities and the limits of new technologies.
Our goal is simple: create an inclusive, supportive space that sparks curiosity and innovation. The Fusion Lab reflects Lane’s values of diversity, accessibility, and community engagement, while strengthening AI literacy and digital skills across campus and beyond. By sharing what we learn, we help our wider community navigate an uncertain digital future.
