Join the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) at Lane for an informal community breakfast. Faculty, staff, and students are all welcome to meet colleagues and talk about teaching and learning.

Drop in and stay as long as you like. You are welcome whether or not you bring food.
At the table

Shelley Tinkham joins Kevin Steeves at the griddle, with support from the VPAA Office. Enjoy breakfast favorites, coffee, and tea. - Bring a favorite dish
Share a family favorite, a food with a story, or something you enjoy. Homemade or store-bought is welcome; bringing food is never required. - Bring a mug
We have only a few mugs to share. You can also bring a reusable plate and take it home afterward. - Bring a colleague
Meet someone new and help reopen the CTL for the 2026–27 academic year.

Learning and teaching take all of us. These gatherings bring people from across Lane together and make room for conversations to happen naturally.
Make it a regular tradition
Divisions and departments: take a turn in - host a breakfast in November, December, January, or beyond.
- Your team: hosts the table and brings the food.
- The CTL: provides the space, coffee, and tea.
- Everyone: is welcome to bring a dish, potluck style. Keep it simple.
