Purpose
In order to provide transparency to the student population, this procedure describes the pricing philosophy of the Titan Store (Bookstore) and the disposition of income derived from sales.
Narrative
Prices of textbooks sold at the Lane Community College Bookstore (Titan Store) shall be consistent with the prices of other institutionally owned bookstores throughout the nation. The Titan Store maintains a mark-up on course materials that covers the cost of Titan Store personnel, store operations, and other operational expenses. All surplus income from operations is made available to support programs and projects of Lane Community College.
