Welcome to the Lane Community College Grants Office
Grants are powerful tools to launch new initiatives, revitalize existing programs, and drive innovation across campus. This site provides guidance on how to pursue grant funding at Lane—from initial planning through final submission.
What We Do
The Grants Office supports faculty and staff in identifying and securing external funding that aligns with the College’s mission, strategic priorities, and programmatic goals. We provide guidance at every stage of the grant development process, including:
- Interpreting funder guidelines
- Drafting and reviewing proposals
- Preparing budgets
- Navigating internal approvals
- Submitting final applications
- Required Grant Approval Process
All grant proposals—whether submitted electronically or in hard copy—to public or private funders must be reviewed and approved by the Grants Office before submission. This institutional review ensures compliance with college policies and strengthens the quality of submissions.
Complete proposals, including a finalized budget, must be submitted to the Grants Office at least five full working days before the funder's deadline. Early communication is strongly encouraged so we can help build a clear submission timeline and ensure timely, successful submission.
Private Foundation Grants
If you are planning to apply to a private foundation, please contact the LCC Foundation to coordinate your request.
