This procedure outlines how students and authorized third parties may request official transcripts and how students may access unofficial and official transcripts at Lane Community College, including applicable fees and delivery options.
Lane Community College provides both official and unofficial transcripts that include all levels of coursework completed at the College.
Unofficial Transcripts
Students may access their unofficial transcript at no cost through the myLane student services .
Unofficial transcripts are intended for personal use and advising purposes and are not considered valid for official verification of academic history.
Official Transcripts
Official transcripts are processed and delivered through Lane’s authorized vendor, Parchment.
Official transcripts may be requested by the student or an authorized third party and can be delivered in multiple formats, including:
- Secure electronic delivery (PDF)
- Mailed paper copies (when applicable)
Delivery options, processing times, and fees are determined at the time of request through the Parchment ordering system.
Official transcripts issued through Parchment are considered secure, certified records of academic history and may include additional features such as tracking and delivery confirmation.
Fees
General transcript ordering fees are $12.00 per request, with additional fees that may apply depending on delivery method or expedited processing. All applicable fees are displayed at the time of order.
How to Request an Official Transcript
Official transcripts must be requested online through Lane’s transcript ordering service:
- Students will be directed to the Parchment platform to submit and complete their request.
- Identity verification and payment (if applicable) are required at the time of order.
- Order status and delivery tracking are available through the Parchment system.
All transcript orders must be submitted through the Parchment ordering system. Walk-in requests will be directed to Parchment for processing. On-site pickup may be available but is not guaranteed at the time of request. Additional fees may apply for rush processing and/or same-day pickup.
